From Information to Environtment
As nearer Europe is in front of 2020 climate and energy package, BIM is starting to adapt itself into BEM policy. There has been a recognized gap between the ‘energy demand’ of the government, in terms of project specifications; and the capability of BIM and the contractors in terms of technology ‘supply’ and indicators achieved. Information exchange between BIM and BEM is very crucial to ensure effective project planning and effective results delivery. The panel shall facilitate dialogues between the governments’ requirements and contractors and technology providers addressing issues such as collaborative and intensive information and calculation, technology awareness, capacity building and the best way to meet each other’s expectations.
